Corps de Ballet
Lindsi Dec is from Fairfax, Virginia. She trained at Washington Ballet School and on scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 2001 and was promoted to corps de ballet in 2002.
Ms. Dec has performed leading roles in George Balanchine's The Four Temperaments, Prodigal Son, and Rubies; Val Caniparoli's The Bridge; Ulysses Dove's Dancing on the Front Porch of Heaven; Mark Morris's Pacific; and Kent Stowell's Hail to the Conquering Hero and Nutcracker (Peacock). She originated a leading role in Victor Quijada's Suspension of Disbelief. She has been featured in Balanchine's Apollo, Concerto Barocco, La Valse, and A Midsummer Night's Dream; Todd Bolender's Souvenirs; William Forsythe's In the middle somewhat elevated; Ronald Hynd's The Sleeping Beauty; Robert Joffrey's Remembrances; Jerome Robbins's Fancy Free; Stowell's Cinderella, Silver Lining, Swan Lake, and The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet; and Richard Tanner's Ancient Airs and Dances.
