PACIFIC NORTHWEST BALLET
Soloists
Lesley Rausch is from Columbus, Ohio. She studied with Shir Lee Wu at Columbus Youth Ballet and also trained at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as member of the corps de ballet in 2001 and was promoted to Soloist in 2007.
Ms. Rausch has danced leading roles in George Balanchine's Agon, Emeralds, and The Four Temperaments, Val Caniparoli's The Bridge and Lambarena, Ulysses Dove's Dancing on the Front Porch of Heaven and Red Angels, William Forsythe's Artifact II and In the middle, somewhat elevated, Kiyons Gaines's  {SCHWA}; Paul Gibson's The Piano Dance, Mark Morris's Pacific, Jerome Robbins' Fancy Free, Kent Stowell's Nutcracker (Clara, Flora, Peacock), Twyla Tharp's In the Upper Room and Nine Sinatra Songs, and Christopher Wheeldon's Polyphonia.

She has also been featured in Balanchine's Apollo, Ballet Imperial, Concerto Barocco, Diamonds, La Sonnambula, La Valse, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Serenade, Symphony in C; and Symphony in Three Movements; Todd Bolender's Souvenirs; Ronald Hynd's The Merry Widow and The Sleeping Beauty; and Stowell's Carmina Burana, Cinderella, and Swan Lake.
In addition to her performing career, Ms. Rausch has been a guest teacher at New American Youth Ballet in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
