Corps de Ballet
Brittany Reid is from Huntington Beach, California. She trained at the School of American Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2000.
Ms. Reid has danced leading roles in George Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hippolyta) and Symphony in Three Movements, Todd Bolender's Souvenirs, and Kent Stowell's Nutcracker (Flora, Peacock) and Silver Lining.
She also originated a featured role in Kiyon Gaines's {SCHWA}. Ms. Reid been featured in Balanchine's Apollo, Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet, Concerto Barocco, The Four Temperaments, and Symphony in C; Trisha Brown's Spanish Dance; Ronald Hynd's The Merry Widow and The Sleeping Beauty; Peter Martins' Fearful Symmetries; Marius Petipa's Paquita; Stowell's Cinderella and Swan Lake; and Richard Tanner's Ancient Airs and Dances.
