EYES ON DANCE WORKSHOPS

Enrich your PNB theater experience with the following workshops:

PRE-PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS — Grades PK-12
What do we look for in a dance performance? How do we make sense of it? This workshop prepares students for a meaningful experience at the theater. Through movement exploration, students investigate the elements of dance and composition as tools to support individual meaning making.

POST-PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS — Grades PK-12
What questions are sparked by seeing a performance? What discoveries have been made? What perspectives have been challenged? This workshop builds on students' viewing experiences as it promotes inquiry into meaning and deepens understanding of dance as a communicative art form. Workshops may take on various formants that may include movement, discussion and writing.
