During Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 2017-2018 season, PNB will launch the audience education program BALLET 101. This ticketed, four-part series will explore a range of topics, from ballet terminology, steps, and partnering to casting, contemporary works, and the business of ballet. Sessions will be held at the Phelps Center, in Studio C, as well as in the Jane Davis Board Room. PNB artistic staff and Company dancers will lead a behind-the-scenes look at many facets of the ballet industry and provide an engaging point of entry for audience members both well-acquainted with and new to PNB and our programs.
