Annette Page was discovered by Moira Shearer, star of the film “The Red Shoes,” who arranged for her to audition for The Royal Ballet School. As a member of The Royal Ballet, she rose to leading roles including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, and The Firebird, frequently dancing with Ronald Hynd, as well as Rudolf Nureyev and Erik Bruhn.
