PNB Student Professional Division Student Division
The Student Division consists of Level I through VIII, beginning at age 8. Auditions are required for Level I and above or for students age 8 years or older. Classes in this division are carefully graded by age, physical strength and development. Students are introduced to progressive levels of ballet technique as described in the School Syllabus. They are promoted according to individual progress in acquiring technique and strength. Entrance by audition only.

Professional Division
Auditions are required for admission. Students selected for this level concentrate on perfecting technique and developing artistry, and a foundation is laid on which to build a professional career. Students in this division have frequent opportunities to perform with the Company. Apprentices to the Company are drawn from the Professional Division.

At the time of registration, parents are requested to share with the School staff any medical or academic information about their student that will enable the faculty to more completely meet each student's needs.

PNB Student Professional Division Tuition
Students are registered on a yearly basis, with the exception of Creative Movement and Children's Division Boys classes, which are on a quarterly basis. Tuition is payable at the beginning of each school year (or quarter, for Creative Movement students). Tuition may be paid in semester or monthly installments upon approval of the School. Payments are due by the first class of each month. Other arrangements must be approved by the School. Students admitted after the school year has begun are eligible to pay a pro-rated amount upon approval of the Administrative Director.

Once classes have begun, tuition is not refundable. Students who miss class or withdraw before the end of the semester are still obligated for the full semester's fees, whether they are paying on a semester basis or in monthly installments.

Students are eligible for a pro-rated tuition refund only if they must withdraw from classes due to prolonged illness or severe injury, verified by a doctor's certificate.

Students with outstanding accounts will not be admitted to class. There is a $20 charge for any returned check.
