Barton

Morgan Barton (she/her) is from San Antonio, Texas. She trained at Quenedit Ballet School and on scholarship at The HARID Conservatory and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She was a member of Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s Professional Division and attended summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ellison Ballet, and The HARID Conservatory, each on scholarship. Morgan joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 2024.

Morgan Barton is the recipient of The Jeannot B. Cerrone Award in recognition of excellence in dance performance (The HARID Conservatory 2022).

Following the opening night world premiere performance of AfterTime in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s current mixed rep program, PNB Artistic Director Peter Boal announced the promotion of four corps de ballet dancers to the rank of soloist, and two soloists being elevated to principal dancers. What do you hope the audience leaves with from watching your piece? I hope the audience leaves feeling as if they have witnessed a full arc in terms of the story telling my piece attempts. Additionally, I hope they leave with as many questions as answers, along with the urge to see it again.
