Second Trumpet – Open Auditions

Only highly qualified candidates will be invited to audition. Auditions will be held in Seattle at McCaw Hall. Preliminary Auditions will start at 9:30 AM on Wednesday June 5, 2024. The excerpts will be identical for all candidates. Final Auditions will start after the Preliminary Auditions on the same day. The PNB Orchestra is a per service orchestra. This is a union position. Employment benefits include access to health, dental and vision insurance plans. There is also a 401K plan. Employment will begin in September 2024, or at the earliest availability of the winning candidate. For the 2024-2025 season, Section rates will be $235.65 for each 2.5-hour service and $282.78 for each 3-hour service.

The senior accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing effective accounting practices, maintaining accurate accounting records, and preparing timely financial reports. Pacific Northwest Ballet is a nationally recognized and highly regarded ballet company and school in Seattle, Washington with a $30 million budget and a $28 million endowment. Rehearsal Director

The Rehearsal Director assists the Artistic Directors with oversight of rehearsals and staging ballets. The Rehearsal Director is responsible for the training and development of all dancers and artists and interfaces with several artistic and departmental leaders to formulate rehearsal schedules. Director of Production/Technical Director

The Technical Director is responsible for the planning, management, and supervision of all stage and rehearsal work associated with mounting and running of PNB productions. This includes management of Production Department staff and collaborating across departments. Pay Range: $105,000 – 125,000 year; Salaried, Exempt. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.

Foundation and Government Relations Manager

As a member of PNB’s collaborative Revenue Team, the Foundation and Government Relations Manager is responsible for fundraising from and managing relationships with foundations and government entities. A successful candidate should be an excellent writer who meets deadlines while creatively approaching their work. Researching, cultivating, and soliciting funders is highly important to this role, as is the ability to identify new sources of potential foundation and government income and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across the organization in identifying and soliciting new foundation gifts. This position collaborates frequently with PNB’s Executive & Artistic Directors and members of PNB’s Board of Trustees. Pay Range $61,500 – $64,000/year; salaried; non-exempt; benefits eligible.
