Eastside Summer Dance Workshops
Children’s Division

Students ages 5*–7 participate in a week-long workshop session meeting daily at the Francia Russell Center in Bellevue for three hours (Students may register for more than one session). Each week-long session has a different ballet-related theme (George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, Beauty and the Beast, Fairy Tales, Swan Lake). Each day includes an hour-long dance class, music class, story, craft project and a break for a snack. Sessions culminate with an informal mini-performance featuring choreography relating to that week’s theme and scenery and props created by the students.

FRC Summer 2025

Students enrolled in the Francia Russell Center Summer Course will continue to learn progressive levels of ballet technique in a nurturing and professional environment.
Enrollment in the Francia Russell Center Summer Course will be open to all PNB School students currently registered in Levels I-V in the 2024-25 School Year. Registration for FRC Summer Course 2025 will be open to current students through the PNB School Portal in the spring.
Classes
The Francia Russell Center Summer Course will offer ballet technique classes three to six days a week for students in Level I-V. Classes in other forms of dance complement the weekly schedule for Level III-V, providing students with a rich summer dance experience.
