Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Nancy Casciano joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 2014 and was promoted to corps de ballet in 2015. She will present her second work for Next Step at 2019’s NEXT STEP: OUTSIDE/IN; tickets go on sale April 1.

Nancy studied at the School of American Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and attended summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell.

Nancy’s first piece for NEXT STEP, We Were Little, premiered in 2018. We Were Little featured music from Olafur Arnalds and Michael Torke, and leotards from local dancewear line Solu. Nancy is currently rehearsing her 2019 premiere, Circles and Triangles, set to Michael Torke’s Green Music.
