This is Alejandro Cerrudo‘s second time at PNB. Here he is (below) last time, backstage with PNB dancers following the premiere of his Memory Glow.

Memory Glow premiered in 2014.

Cerrudo became Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s first-ever resident choreographer in 2008.

He was one of four choreographers handpicked by Wendy Whelan for her post-NYCB work, Restless Creature

The Huffington Post interviewed Alejandro about how he creates his works: “One of the reasons that Cerrudo can take his audiences to so many different places is his willingness to dream. ‘I always try to aim for anything I can imagine, anything that I think could work,’ he explains.”
