As Pacific Northwest Ballet’s dancers, artists, crew, orchestra, costume shop and the rest of the PNB family prepare for the final weekend of the 2015/16 Season, I wanted to share with you a few of the incredible sketches by Costume Designer, Santo Loquasto for Twyla Tharp’s Waiting at the Station.

She’s Like Superwoman: Sarah Pasch on Working with Twyla Tharp

In this post, I wanted to juxtapose the design sketches to the costumes in motion. In 2013 when premiered, each dancer was given an individual style dependent what Twyla Tharp wanted from their character. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do! Thank you to Larae Hascall for letting us see Mr. Loquasto’s vision.
