Over 1,000 community members visit PNB studios at the Phelps Center for a behind the scenes experience in the professional world of ballet each year. PNB welcomes groups to visit us and see the artistry, magic, and energy of our internationally renowned ballet company.

How much does a field trip cost?
$150 per classroom.
How do I schedule a field trip?
Field trips are typically scheduled on select Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, and up to two classrooms can be accommodated at a time. Field trips last approximately 1.5 hours.

Where are PNB’s studios located?
Field trips take place at PNB’s Seattle Center location, The Phelps Center, located at 301 Mercer Street, Seattle, WA 98109. This is on the north side of the Seattle Center campus, next door to McCaw Hall.
Maximum class size is 30 students.
Schools must provide own transportation.
Drop-off/pick-up load zone is available in front of the Phelps Center, along Mercer Street, for school buses. Parking information for cars.
We are unable to accommodate field trip groups eating lunch on site. If your field trip plans include lunchtime, there are several areas around PNB that can accommodate school groups. The Seattle Center Fountain is just out the back door and the Seattle Center Armory has a large area of indoor seating.
