Everyone could use a little ballet magic in their life, and we don’t want the cost of tickets to keep anyone from attending. To that end, February 10, 2022 marks the official start of Pay-What-You-Can Thursdays at PNB!

A limited number of tickets will be set aside every Thursday performance for patrons to choose the ticket price that works best for them. These tickets will be available 90 minutes prior to the performance at the McCaw Hall Box Office. Visit PNB.org/Season/Offers to learn about all of PNB’s special ticket offers.

Pay What You Can

PNB is proud to introduce Pay-What-You-Can Thursdays. A limited number of tickets will be set aside for each Thursday evening performance* for patrons to pay what they can afford to see the ballet. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis with a minimum donation of $5 per person. Tickets must be purchased in person at the McCaw Hall Box Office on the Thursday you are attending – the McCaw Hall Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to show time.

* The discount is valid for regular season performances only. George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and special events are excluded.

While we have your attention, did you know PNB offers half price rush tickets? Well, we do!

Half price rush tickets are available to the following communities:

  • Students 
  • Seniors (patrons 65+)
  • Educators (early childhood, primary, secondary and higher education school employees)
  • Industry (art industry professionals) 
  • Government/ Military

Tickets can be purchased by calling or visiting the Phelps Center or McCaw Hall Box Office. Rush tickets can only be purchased on the day of the show you are attending.

What form of ID is acceptable?

Patrons must be present a valid ID and/or qualifying documents to receive discounts. Acceptable forms of verification include driver’s license, passport, work ID, union card, recent pay stub, military ID, business card, etc.

Students are required to provide proof of current enrollment in the form of one of the following – a student ID card with semester endorsement, a class schedule or report card, or a receipt of enrollment.
