Here at PNB, we’re loving the “Millennial vs Gen Z Marketing” trend, where flowery millennial language is put head to head with snappy (and silly) Gen Z slang. We decided to take on the trend and highlight our upcoming season. Regardless of who does it better (Millennials or Gen Z’ers), our 2026/27 Season is guaranteed to be iconic!
SERENADE runs September 25 – October 4, 2026 and features George Balanchine’s Serenade, PNB Resident Choreographer Jessica Lang’s world premiere Pages, and Alexei Ratmansky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.

GHOST STORIES runs November 6 – 15, 2026, and features Alejandro Cerrudo’ Silent Ghost and PACOPEPEPLUTO, PNB Principal dancer Kyle Davis’ world premiere The Raven, and George Balanchine’s La Sonnambula.

Kent Stowell’s Swan Lake returns to PNB February 5 – 20, 2027, featuring costumes by Paul Tazewell and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score.

DIRECTOR’S CHOICE runs March 19 – 28, 2027, and features Eva Stone’s F O I L, Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth, and a world premiere from Kyle Abraham.

George Balanchine’s beloved adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes the PNB stage April 16 – 25, 2027, featuring Felix Mendelssohn’s score and costumes and scenery designed by Martin Pakledinaz.

BALLET ON BROADWAY runs June 4 – 13, 2027, and features Twyla Tharp’s Waiting at the Station, Christopher Wheeldon’s Carousel (A Dance), and Susan Stroman’s Take Five… More or less.

We’ve got no notes for either generation (or on our next season). While you’re here, don’t forget to subscribe and put these six stellar ballets on your calender today!
