Artist Biographies

Kiyon Ross has devoted his career to ballet—as a dancer, choreographer, stager, faculty member, and administrator. He started his training at the Baltimore School of the Arts and finished at PNB School, joining the Company in 2001 and retiring as a Soloist in 2015. Kiyon has choreographed works for PNB, PNB School, New York City Ballet Choreographic Institute, and Spectrum Dance Theater, and was the resident choreographer at Ballet Arkansas from 2015-2018. Kiyon is the Associate Artistic Director at PNB.

Randall G. Chiarelli (1949-2024) devoted his career to lighting for dance, much of it at Pacific Northwest Ballet, and also for American Ballet Theatre, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, among others. His many collaborators included choreographers Donald Byrd, Mark Dendy, Ronald Hynd, Kent Stowell, Susan Stroman, and Christopher Wheeldon. Chiarelli graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in painting and sculpture.

Born in Wenatchee, Washington, Victoria McFall has appeared in PNB productions of Snow White and The Sleeping Beauty and has been a staff member of PNB’s Costume Shop since 1994. She danced with San Francisco Ballet for 19 years, where she also designed sets and costumes. Her costume designs for PNB include Esmeralda Pas de Deux, Torque and Le Corsaire Pas de Trois and, in collaboration with Val Caniparoli, The Bridge; and Going for Baroque (Tulsa Ballet).
