PNB Immersion Experience
Take a deep dive into the program onstage with a new deal for the 2019-2020 season: the PNB Immersion Experience. Designed to immerse you in the creative process before Opening Night, Immersion Experiences include an hour-long studio rehearsal hosted by Artistic Director Peter Boal—sitting courtside in PNB’s studios for a dancer rehearsal—plus either a PNB Orchestra rehearsal at McCaw Hall hosted by Music Director Emil De Cou or a tour of PNB’s award-winning costume shop with a Q&A with dancers and artists. The Immersion Experience will make a ballet expert out of you! Available for LOCALLY SOURCED, Cinderella, ONE THOUSAND PIECES, and Giselle.
PNB Conversations & Dress Rehearsal
PNB Conversations are hosted by Artistic Director Peter Boal or Audience Education Manager Doug Fullington and offer in-depth interviews with choreographers, stagers, designers, dancers, and other artists involved in putting our repertory on stage. Attend the Conversations event only or stay for Dress Rehearsal.
Ballet 101 is a four-part series exploring of a range of ballet topics. PNB artistic staff leads a behind-the-scenes look at many facets of the ballet industry and provides an engaging point of entry for audience members both well-acquainted with and new to PNB and our programs. Moderated by Audience Education Manager Doug Fullington.

Seminars, Lectures, & Demos
Throughout the season, PNB will offer a variety of one-time studio presentations related to the upcoming program. Each program is unique – but all are led by industry experts and provide an in-depth look at elements of the work before it takes the stage. Events often include demonstrations and rehearsal by PNB Company dancers, along with conversation and commentary about the ballets.
