This summer 2022 L.A. tour program features Little mortal jump by resident choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo; Plot Point by Crystal Pite, set to Bernard Herrmann’s film score from Psycho; and Waiting at the Station by Twyla Tharp, set to a collection of compositions by R&B artist Allen Toussaint.

The Joyce Theater presented Pacific Northwest Ballet performing two unique programs, featuring ballets created by Alejandro Cerrudo, Ulysses Dove, Crystal Pite, and Twyla Tharp. All performances were accompanied by the PNB Orchestra under the music direction of Principal Conductor Emil de Cou.
This engagement kicked off with The Joyce Theater’s Annual Gala on June 22, featuring Twyla Tharp’s Waiting at the Station and George Balanchine’s classic masterpiece Diamonds.
Les Étés de la Danse Festival
June 25 – July 7, 2018
Pacific Northwest Ballet toured to Paris in June 2018 to perform at the Les Étés de la Danse Festival. The two-week festival devoted its first week to a multi-company celebration of Jerome Robbins, including PNB dancing Opus 19/The Dreamer. PNB was exclusively featured in the second week performing alternating programs of eight signature works.

Heralded for its artistic excellence and creativity, Pacific Northwest Ballet performs a sensational program that features the New York premieres of works by Christopher Wheeldon and Alejandro Cerrudo. Wheeldon’s Tide Harmonic, an enchanting work performed by four couples, is set to a score for chamber orchestra of the same name by British composer Joby Talbot. Cerrudo’s Memory Glow, a Joyce commission and the first piece that the choreographer has created for Pacific Northwest Ballet, is characterized by smooth, fluid movement that highlights the dancers’ masterful technique.

Under the direction of Peter Boal, one of America’s greatest ballet companies makes a rare East Coast appearance. Their exciting program includes British choreographer David Dawson’s exuberant A Million Kisses to My Skin and Nacho Duato’s Rassemblement, inspired by and danced to the music of Haitian singer Toto Bissainthe. Five time Tony Award-winning choreographer Susan Stroman also offers her jazzy TAKE FIVE…More or Less, set to music by Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond.
