Pacific Northwest Ballet Dancers Cecilia Iliesiu, Miles Pertl, and Price Suddarth Announce Departures

PNB says farewell to principal dancer Cecilia Iliesiu, as well as soloists Miles Pertl and Price Suddarth at the end of the 2024-25 season.
PNB School director Peter Boal recently announced the retirements of esteemed PNB School faculty members Denise Bolstad and Abbie Siegel. Denise Bolstad, PNB School Managing Director, will retire at the conclusion of Summer Course, and Abbie Siegel, PNB School Principal, will retire from her position after School Performance.
Coppélia marks the final performances staged by PNB Rehearsal Director Otto Neubert, who will be retiring at the end of the season. Mr. Neubert joined Pacific Northwest Ballet in 1992 and has assisted PNB’s artistic directors in rehearsing teaching, and scheduling the Company, as well as rehearsing countless PNB School students in their roles for George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and other productions. The curtain comes down on Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 2023-2024 season with its annual Season Encore Performance, a celebratory salute to the season and a fond farewell to departing dancers, including Ezra Thomson and James Kirby Rogers. Pacific Northwest Ballet principal dancer James Yoichi Moore has announced that after a 20-year career with the company, he is retiring at the end of PNB’s 2023-24 season. Moore joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2004 and was promoted to soloist in 2008 and principal in 2013. His two decades with the company will be celebrated at the Season Encore Performance, Sunday, June 9 at McCaw Hall.
Pacific Northwest Ballet principal dancer Lesley Rausch has announced that she will be retiring at the end of the 2022-23 season. Lesley joined PNB as a member of the corps de ballet in 2001. She was promoted to soloist in 2007 and principal in 2011. Lesley’s incredible 22-year career will be celebrated at the Season Encore Performance, Sunday, June 11, 2023 at McCaw Hall.
