PNB provides a benefits package for both full-time and part-time non-union employees

Benefits for part-time employees vary depending on hours worked per week.

  • Health Care Coverage
    Comprehensive medical, plus prescription; voluntary dental and voluntary vision coverage.
  • Life Insurance
    Basic Life Insurance and AD&D each provide a $50,000 benefit.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
    The EAP provides assistance with a wide range of personal issues and concerns on a confidential basis.
  • Time Off
    Regular Full and Regular Part Time employees are eligible for 11 national paid holidays, vacation time starting at 15 days off which increases with length of service, and sick time accrual.
  • Retirement Investments
    PNB offers a 401(k) plan which allows employees to contribute a percentage of their pay on a pre-tax basis. The plan offers a discretionary match.
  • Additional Voluntary Benefits
    PNB offers voluntary benefits including term life, accident, cancer and disability insurances.
  • Discounted Performance Tickets
    PNB generally provides complimentary tickets to employees for each performance (with the exception of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®). Depending on the performance additional tickets can be purchased at a 20-50% discount.
  • Discounted Open Ballet and Pilates Classes
    Open ballet classes available at no cost to full time staff (and dancers). Pilates apparatus class available at 10% discount and Pilates mat class available at no cost to all employees (subject to certain limitations).
  • Children’s Division Ballet Classes
    Employee’s immediate family members may take Children’s Division ballet classes based on the audition process per PNB Ballet School policy and class availability.
  • Seattle Gym Membership
    Discounted membership to The Seattle Gym is available for $29/month with no annual membership fee (only available to full time staff and dancers).
  • Discounted Graduate Tuition at Northeastern University
    PNB is proud to partner with our new neighbors from Boston’s Northeastern University (NU) on an exciting new educational venture. NU has recently opened a branch in Seattle and is generously providing up to 25% off tuition for post-graduate studies in a variety of fields, including: Digital Media, Education, Human Services, Leadership, and Nonprofit Management.
