Peterson

Ginabel Peterson (she/her) is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She trained at the Wissahickon Dance Academy, Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C., Miami City Ballet School, and the Indiana University Ballet Theatre. She attended summer courses at Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C., Miami City Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, and was a Resident Intern at the Ballet West Academy Summer Intensive. Ginabel joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2021.

At Ballet West, Ginabel danced in William Christensen’s The Nutcracker, Nicolo Fonte’s Piece of My Heart, Pamela Robinson’s Snow White, and Adam Sklute’s Giselle.

Ginabel was on the cover of A Ballet Education’s magazine, A Celebration of Black Women in Ballet, in September 2020. She was featured in Thrive125: A Utah Celebration on PBS in December 2020.
